Very Nice Person (the duo Davis and Skyler Diamond) and their dreamy electronic sounds captured the hearts at Zebulon (a Pretty But Wicked showcase night). Their quiet demeaner and one-liners sold the deal for many. After their set ended, I overheard one person in the audience comment, "He's [David Diamond] funny as hell." One understated comedic moment came at the start of the set when he told someone in the audience that he liked their hat, because it was glittery. He mentioned he also had glitter on his shirt.

The band kept it simple with a table in the middle with all their synth / computer gear. All three members performed within reach of the table.
Comment of the set: Shout out to everyone in the front row!
The band did not even need to do much encouragement to get people to stand at the front row. As always, I was near the front of the stage to take photos. As soon as the band walked onto the stage, people moved closer to the stage and in order to keep my camera angle, I needed to take a step forward with the crowd. Their mom was also in the front row, off to the side.

Their unreleased song "When You Wake Up" is about death. Not the death of a friend or family member, but of chickens. It was mentioned that they have chickens at home. It does make one wonder how the chickens die.
Ghosts hit their synths for their final song "Keep Holding On To This." It was a quick resolution, "I see exactly what happened." They backed it up 15 seconds or so and picked it up from their.
They released their debut album Trampoline earlier this year. The setlist was mainly unreleased songs, but they did perform two songs off the album. Let's make the title track the Song Spotlight. It has the band's dreamy electronic sounds with a trampoline like rhythm to it. A song about an unexpected event that required immediate attention.

I guess that's how these things just go
Setlist: Whatever You Want, To You, Think That Too, When You Wake Up, Trampoline, Don't Worry, Keep Holding On To This.
As a note: the band has a famous relative that you can discover if you so wish.
