Tele (moniker for Sophie Telegadis) brought her vibrant personality to Zebulon. Before starting her set, she jumped excitedly on stage, she was almost giggly. Yet, when the music started she went for a cool nonchalant attitude that worked perfectly for her desert-psychedelic rock. One could see influences of Jesse Jo Stark in both her music and performance style.

In 2025, she released two EPs, Honesty Project and Salvation Mountain. Honesty Project is anchored by "Honest Man." Honest man is meant, as she mentioned, in a sarcastic way. A song about going out with a man who is handsome, takes her to dinner, brightens up when he sees her, and reads Henry Miller. Has she found Mr. Right? Then he goes out of town and when he returns the relationship changes in an unexpected negative direction. Salvation Mountain appears to be inspired by exploration of her adopted town of Los Angeles. It is a short and sweet four song EP that includes the songs "Slab City" and "Salvation Mountain." Considering how long I've lived in Southern California, it is amusing that I've never visited either location.

A new EP or album has to be around the corner as most of the songs on her setlist are unreleased material. She mentioned that many of her songs are about the same man. The crowd wanted to know his name (I'm assuming many of her friends in the crowd already know the answer). She demurred, only hinting that her ex-boyfriend is an actor who is out to make a career in it and she doesn't want to bad mouth him.
During her set, she was an open critic of her own performance, which was amusing. Though her microphone stand was front and center, she kept admitting that she didn't need it. After each song, she'd put the microphone back into the microphone clip. She kept wondering out loud why she would do that when she planned to just hold the microphone again for the next song. And after one particular song, she gave herself a somewhat negative grade for her stage performance, "I need to learn to sing and head bang at the same time. That will come with time." She is someone who wishes to hit her full potential.

She gave insight into her music composition process for "Pass Me Around." The song started out as a ballad and then turned more aggressive. Aggression is good as the song is about thinking that you're more important to someone than you are in reality.
The Song Spotlight goes to "Salvation Mountain." A grinding rock tune with fierce bass beats and vocals that carry pain and suffering. Life can be frustrating and sometimes we just want to be free.
