Sakshi Chopra stood off to the side, dressed as a modern day genie, while her guitarist played a quiet reflective intro. She then walked onto the staged, standing barefoot on a carpet that took on magical qualities. Standing there, she looked a touch nervous to start off the Hotel Ziggy set (a WFNM night). That nervousness quickly ended once she started to sing and dance through her opening song "Hypnotized." The song mixes in traditional Indian music with modern pop and R'n'B. The set got support from a huge fan base that was beyond capacity of the venue and had many standing in the hotel lobby area.

Her set was a quick 20 minutes that included two released songs, a couple unreleased tracks, and a Michael Bublé cover. The most fun track of the night would be "Not My Fault." She mentioned that the song was about not being responsible for certain actions, because it is just "not my fault when I get raging drunk." It is an R'n'B song with keys driving the retro sounds while she danced in an enticing fashion.

Hurry up Hold my gaze
Like it when I feel you
"Feminati" is an unreleased track that was "dedicated to all my ladies in the house that's been hurt, that's been cheated on. That's been f*cked over. This song is about when you've got to go into yourself, and you go into the villain era."

After finishing her final song "Masala," that brings the "spice," she danced her way off stage and hugged her friends in excitement.
Doing my research on Sakshi Chopra, I realized that her family is Bollywood royalty (I know very little about Bollywood so this is all just based on my research), the equivalent of the Barrymore family of Hollywood. TCM watchers know all about John and Lionel Barrymore. While others may just be familiar with Drew Barrymore. While the Barrymore family is known for their acting, Chopra's family is known for directing. Her great grandfather is Ramanand Sagar who created the television series Ramayan that is the longest lasting television series in Indian history. She's also related to Preeti Sagar who is known for being a playback singer (someone who pre-records songs which the actors then lip-sync) in Bollywood movies. There are more that are involved in Bollywood and so I think it is fair enough to consider them the equivalent of the Barrymore family.
